Diaspora questions

Can I really buy without flying back?

Yes. With our Diaspora Premium service we set up a power of attorney with a trusted nominee and an escrow account at a Kenyan bank. All movement of funds is documented and visible to you in real time.

Funds sit in an escrow account at one of our partner banks (NCBA, ABSA Kenya, or Stanbic) until release conditions in the sale agreement are met. Makazi does not touch buyer funds.

Our Full Transaction Package includes an official search at the Ministry of Lands registry, plus a survey-map verification and a green-card pull where applicable.

Yes. The Full Transaction and Diaspora Premium packages include stamp duty assessment, filing, and the actual transfer at the registry — not just the paperwork.

If a deal collapses through no fault of the buyer in the first 30 days, you can roll your unused fees into a future engagement within 12 months.
